The Adoption Process:
At SAF, we believe in meticulous matchmaking between pets and their future owners. Our thorough adoption process ensures a harmonious fit for both the pet and the adopter. Once we determine that the match is socially and environmentally suitable, the adoption process is completed, allowing your new furry friend to settle into their forever home.
Returning Pets to SAF:
While our goal is to create lasting bonds between pets and their owners, we understand that relationships may not always work out. In such cases, we insist that the pet is returned to SAF. This ensures that each animal continues to receive the care and attention they deserve until a more suitable match is found.
Adoption Fees and Inclusions:
To support our efforts in providing comprehensive care for our animals, SAF has nominal adoption fees. The adoption fee for cats is $150, covering spay/neuter, FELV/FIV testing, Vaccinations, and a microchip. For dogs, the adoption fee is $250, encompassing spay/neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test (or treatment), and a microchip. These fees contribute to the well-being of the pets in our program, allowing us to continue our mission.
